International Patient Admission and Treatment Policy

Admission and Medical Information

  • International patients are admitted after their medical records have been reviewed, the availability of the required service has been confirmed, and arrangements have been made with the treating physician.

  • Patients must provide accurate medical information, including their medical history, current medications and diagnostic records.

Standards of Care

Medical services are provided in accordance with professional medical standards, the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Ministry of Health regulations.

Treatment Plan and Costs

  • Before treatment begins, the proposed treatment plan and an initial cost estimate (Proforma Invoice) will be provided to the patient or their companion.

  • Treatment costs are calculated based on approved tariffs and the services actually provided, and are included in the final invoice.

  • Any changes in costs due to the patient’s clinical condition or additional diagnostic or treatment services will be applied after notification.

Patient Rights and Confidentiality

  • International patients have the right to clear information about the treatment process, costs, risks and treatment options.

  • Patients’ medical and personal information will be kept confidential in accordance with applicable confidentiality laws.

Support Services and Follow-up After Discharge

  • Where needed, translation services, accommodation coordination, transportation and welfare services are provided in accordance with hospital policies.

  • After discharge, patients will receive a summary of their medical record and recommendations for follow-up care.
